Fun Chinese Characters

Introduction

Fun Chinese Character, designed according to “ Character-based constructional approach”, is a series of multimedia product introducing basic Chinese characters to child learners through animation. Based on Bellassen Method, it's jointly developed by hihilulu and Chinese linguist Joël Bellassen. It includes high-frequency components, and a family of extended characters, which are constructed with easy understandable logics and are suitable for children's dynamic visual comprehension. The selection and interpretation of characters are adapted to children's age and cognitive ability, and vividly line out the evolution and construction logic of those characters through ideography and pictography. While helping children memorize and recognize Chinese characters, this series leads learners to truly understand Chinese language.
